William's "Wing Chun Forms" are actually not Ip Man's form. William didn't complete the course and he simply created his own based on very basic skills. Of course, his students can deny this. It is up to them. But if one is seriously to stick to the truth/fact, one can search youtube using "Ip Chun on William Cheung’s Wing Chun" to find out. Also, William and Bruce Lee were classmates of Ip Man at that time. If compare with Bruce Lee's "Siu Lim Tau", William has his "own". That's explain why William's forms are quite different from Ip Man's, Bruce's and Ip Man students'. Hope one can be honest to himself and willing to find out the truth.

If the system that he teaches is created by himself, then he should be among the great grandmasters like Ng Mui, since he managed to create and develop a better system than the original. Also, you people forget one important thing: William Cheung knows the classic Wing Chun too. He knows what everyone else knows, plus a few more things. So if he created those different things, he should take credit about them too and not give the credit to Ip Man and Leung Bik, but instead he prefers to give credit where credit is due.

You don't just create a variation of Wing Chun... To simply deny the variation of the style is lack of vision. The standard version of Wing Chun everyone sees is that of Yip Man. Don't be blind to the fact of many styles of Wing Chun. To say they're all wrong because they have variations on different design is immature. Remember it's not what's on the outside. It's what's on the inside . To say he didn't complete the course sounds like you have some inside information. Shaolin Wing Chun existed before Yip Man learned it.

The 'True' Bill Jee form as taught by Yip Man to the 'sole inheritor' of authentic & secret Win Chun. To ALL others Yip Man taught 'modified versions of Win Chun movements and techniques' especially wrt Bill Jee, in which taught by others 'the essence is completely lost.' Best part of video is 1:52 where Sifu Cheung looks about, hoping no-one has seen him, then smiles for camera.

It really is impressive the way how people use Wing Chun I wish I could happen doing that type of thing in karate in my old house it is amazing the way how you perform it and how you it could save your life and be more effective in the street fight I just wish I could have been studying martial arts a long time ago in 2010 or 11 and all the panties and how you practice how you perform it and how you use it and how you do well with it it really is impressive and incredible very very powerful indeed 🥋🙏😌🙏🥋

To be honest, I think William Cheung didn't complete the full WC course for at least 3 reasons. First, his styles are quite different from those of Ip Man/Wong Sheung Leung (they have more or less the same style) and others. One can verify this by searching youtube videos. Secondly, William immigrated to Australia in about 1973 whereas Ip Man died in 1972. Prior to that, Ip was so weak to teach. Thirdly, William and Bruce were about same time to learn (though William introduced Bruce WC, timing wise is not a very big difference). Bruce was actually taught by WSL and never showed Chum Kiu or Biu Jee forms/photos. I would believe that William didn't learn that much as well. That's why his "Chum Kiu/Biu Jee" are quite different.

I disagree with you, because GM William Cheung, my Si kung, teaches the real traditional forms. He was taught directly from Yip Man. When he was desciple-internal student in Yip Man's house. '' Yip man taught me all the Traditional real forms of the system and not variations'' William Cheung said. We have no reasons to believe that he tell us lies. He is so respectful Sifu with so knowledge. To conclude, it is best for you to meet him and you may reconsider some of your saying. As a free man, I respect your opinion. But Your words are not the facts.

GM William Cheung was a live in student for many years under the roof of Yip Man. He learned the complete system in addition to the footwork that the other students were not taught.

I believe this is all true. William was taught by Chu Shong Tin. Same as my Sifu. My Sifu never spoke favourably of WC. None of WC’S forms, including wooden dummy, look anything like Ip’s or Chu’s.

I don’t know who is telling the truth and who is lying but i do know one thing,Chinese Kung fu is well known for instructors altering their teaching instructions for many reasons. It could be family, money, discipleship, inner students, public students, selfishness many instructors have simply taken many techniques to the grave with them rather Han teach them to others.Did William Chung learn a alternate form of wing chun from yip man ,we will never know, does his style of wing chun work,to some students it does to others it don’t,but that applies to any martial arts style that you practice.
